Giving Thanks

I started reading food blogs about a year ago as a way to discover new recipes and learn more about cooking in general. For Thanksgiving, I’d like to give a little thanks to the blogs that inspired me to start my own. These people are awesome cooks, bakers, and writers. I hope that some day I can be half as awesome as they are!

Joy the Baker This pretty lady has a cookbook coming out in 2012 and she couldn’t deserve it more. She’s an amazing blogger and all around entrepreneur. This lady does it all!

Brown Eyed Baker This girl is a serious blogger. She updates almost every day, which is great for food geeks like me who are aching for something new and delicious all the time! Don’t let the word baker fool you either, she’s got some great savory ideas.

My Baking Addiction Beautiful food as well as some great tips and tricks for the kitchen.

I Am Baker I just love this lady for who she is. The food looks good too. That’s enough, right?

Eat the Love If my husband and I had an Asian baby, I think it would be this guy. He’s a fountain of food, good design, and wisdom.

Two Peas and Their Pod This cute cooking couple just had their first baby and are still cooking up delicious dishes.

I made two seasonal bar desserts this week that were inspired by Two Peas and Their Pod. They would make a great addition to your Thanksgiving table if you’re looking for some last minute ideas! Follow the links below to their website to get the recipes.

Pumpkin Caramel BarThese ooey gooey caramel pumpkin blondies were a huge hit. They are exactly what the title promises and are a very sweet treat.

Apple cinnamon barThese apple cinnamon cookie bars taste just like apple pie without all the fuss! Perfect for fall.

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday and are able to eat some great food!
