The Monday Menu 5/21/2012
Today is a very special day. Seven years ago today I was blessed to marry my best friend. We were high school sweethearts and dated for three years before getting married, so we’ve actually been together for ten years. Its pretty hard to believe. God willing, I think we’ll be those people who reach their 60th wedding anniversary – we’re already a sixth of the way there!
I can’t describe to you how wonderful my husband is. He is extremely supportive in every endeavor and pretty much the coolest person I’ve ever known. Being married to him is super awesome.
I’m not sure we’re going to have the opportunity to go out for our anniversary tonight, but we may do something over the weekend. I came up with a usual menu plan just to be safe.
Monday – Burgundy Pepper Spoon Steaks and Shrimp with grilled vegetables and baked beans
Tuesday – Penne with Tomato, Feta and Basil with packaged salad mix
Wednesday – Ground Beef Tacos with pico de gallo with avocado
Thursday – BBQ Baked Chicken with cornbread and mashed potatoes
Friday – Cajun Chicken Wraps with grapes and baby carrots
